About the role:
Agile Senior Community Lead is responsible for setting strategic direction for product delivery management, defining and implementing standards and processes, managing the team across a broad portfolio of products and services, and successfully implementing recovery for project crisis situations.
This is a high-impact role where you will have experience of working with senior leaders, stakeholders and third parties to drive key business strategies.
You will be part of IT leadership team driving cultural and procedural change and embedding agile approaches and ways of working.
As Agile Senior Community Lead you will primarily focus on defining and delivery strategy, while supporting the creation of self-organizing and high performing teams.
  • Define and steer the organization's agile strategy;
  • Establish mature and healthy agile software development working environment, within the context of our organizational values;
  • Provide continuous improvements in operational capabilities to optimize efficiency;
  • Implement agile delivery metrics, including the communication of these metrics to organization-wide stakeholders;
  • Ensure tight alignment of Engineering specific processes with the broader overall Product release cycle;
  • Develop an Agile Community of Practice to include Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross functional team members regarding customizing Agile approaches, tools, skills to the organization, including updating process and role definitions as needed;
  • Drive organizations agility forward and improve ways of working, working closely with the Leadership team, different levels of management, experienced practitioners, and our Product - all while driving continuous improvement efforts, identifying and removing organisational blockers to high performance and delivering high quality software;
  • Lead Agile initiatives across the Organisation;
  • Leverage our teams experience in Agile-related practices & tools;
  • Enable a systemic culture of experimentation and innovation.
  • Demonstrated prior success as an Agile Transformation leader;
  • Experience working at the “enterprise level” to design ways of working and structures at scale that enable flow & customer outcomes;
  • Previous management experience;
  • Experience cooperating with agile and non-agile teams;
  • Experience working with and presenting to all levels of an organization, including senior executives;
  • One or more related agile practitioner certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM, CSP, PSM, PMI-ACP).
